A363

Oooh getting excited about A363. I've spent the last two days sorting out my study and I've thrown away so much. I've have found about 15 notebooks. I buy them if I'm away on a course - use the first few pages - and file them away. So I AM NOT GOING TO BUY ANY MORE NOTE BOOKS. (Well, I bought one for A363 a while ago, so that doesn't count.)
John and I have got rid of all cheap biros, and resurrected various Parkers, Scheaffers (sp?) and Crosses lying around. We've ordered good inks in four different colours.
So I'm up for a distinction!!!

Update

I was SO SO SO SO disappointed in my ECA result a few weeks ago. I only got 71% and as you need a distinction in ECA and the course work I only got a Grade 2 pass. I can understand the marker didn't like my story, but what's with only average for presentation? You can't go wrong on this, and my tutor always said my presentation was 'spot on.'
Oh well, I'm really looking forward to the Level 3 course. The materials are arriving in couple of weeks.
My excuse for not writing here is - I've been designing websites for the church and my camera club. Here are the addresses.

Bye folks. Gardening today!

really light

I mean, the amount of posts I've made. The trouble is I have several blogs and websites and I forget about them. I'm inclined to write about writing in
www.rainbowpuddles.co.uk

Anyway, it's July now, and A215 and my Adult Education course have finished. I'll probably add to this blog in September when I restart Adult Education. I hope to start the OU Level 3 Creative Writing in October, so will post more then.
Bye folks. Have a good summer.

Down to 85%

Oops. I've dropped 11%. And I always think poetry is my best subject. Oh well, I suppose it's all very subjective.
I'm on the last stretch now. A 2,500 word short story. I've decided to write about a young woman who has a baby secretly. She's sitting in a graveyard wondering what to do. You're kept guessing to the end. My tutor said be careful not to make it too melodramatic. I think the danger will be making it too sentimental as I love happy endings.

96%

And now I have 96% for my Life Writing. And my life hasn't been blockbuster material. I've just submitted the 5th TMA. It's to do with researching suitable publishers for our work. I found a really lovely little publisher called Equinox (more details when I'm more awake) and will probably send them stuff in the near future.

How time flies.

Well, I have a Writing Blog with Wordpress, and I think I prefer that. However, just for the record, I got 95% for my short story TMA and 94% for my poetry TMA so I'm a well happy bunny.

Wow! I forgot I had this blog. Well, I have just completed my second TMA and am waiting impatiently (poor tutor) for the results.
The first TMA was a really short story and I got 88% for it. This one is worth 30% of the marks, so I hope I have done well. I think I have.
