How time flies.
Well, I have a Writing Blog with Wordpress, and I think I prefer that. However, just for the record, I got 95% for my short story TMA and 94% for my poetry TMA so I'm a well happy bunny.

A215
I enrolled for this OU course a while ago and am awaiting the materials. Apparently there is a problem so delivery has been delayed.
Luckily I can access them via the web so have downloaded the pdf files.
The first week is about writers' block. 'They' obviously want us to feel confident about writing. We are then given 2 techniques to free up our creativity.
1) Freewriting (where we write quickly on a topic and silence our internal critic)
2) Clustering (where we put a word in the middle of a page and put down associations in threads (like legs from a spider's body.
Right, so I've made a very simplistic start on this blog. Haven't got round to doing the activities yet but will do so tonight.
P.S. Very important. I bought a shiny new note book to carry round with me and jot down all those touches of genius that come to me when driving down the M1. Oops. Maybe I need a dictaphone (or today's equivalent) Any excuse to buy something new.
